Ich freue mich sehr, euch heute meine Illustration für das von @clairefontaine_finearts organisierte „Spring Arty Festival“ präsentieren zu dürfen! Ich hatte das große Glück, zu 30 ausgewählten Künstlern zu gehören, die für dieses Festival mit einem tollen Produktpaket ausgestattet wurden. Jeden Tag stellt jemand Neues ein Werk zum Thema „Die Natur erwacht“ vor und heute bin ich an der Reihe. „Die Natur erwacht“ habe ich mal ganz wörtlich genommen und den Blüten, Bienen und Blättern einen Wecker gestellt. Und weil ich dem ganzen mehr Leben einhauchen wollte, hab ich eine Collage draus gebastelt und sie dann später auch animiert. 

Vielen Dank an @clairefontaine_finearts für diese tolle Möglichkeit, neue Produkte auszuprobieren. 

Ich hoffe, euch gefällt mein Weckruf. Und schaut unbedingt mal beim „Spring Arty Festival“ rein; es gibt jeden Tag was Neues. I’m absolutely delighted to be able to present my illustration for the “Spring Arty Festival” organised by @clairefontaine_finearts today! I was very lucky to be one of 30 selected artists who were provided with a fantastic product pack for this festival. Every day, a new artist presents a piece on the theme of “Nature Awakens”, and today it’s my turn. I took the phrase “Nature is waking up” quite literally and set an alarm for the blossoms, bees and leaves. And because I wanted to breathe some life into it all, I turned it into a collage and later animated it too.

Schwer verliebt und mit leichtem Gepäck unterwegs ins Wochenende ist diese rosa Elefantendame. Ich sitze grad an einer rosa Postkarten-Kollektion, so 5 bis 6 Stück sollen es werden. Dieses Motiv ist eine Skizze, die dafür entstanden ist und ich mag sie schon sehr gern. . This pink elephant lady is head over heels in love and heading into the weekend with just a light pack. Neuer Monat, neues Wallpaper: Nun der Widder. Dieser hier ist ungewöhnlich entspannt und sehr geduldig. Statt mit dem Kopf durch die Wand will er eher mit dem Bauch in die Sonne, gern mit einem guten Buch in den Hufen. Das macht ihn so unwidderstehlich sympatisch. Ich freu mich auf den März. Der Februar hat mich an Karneval gesundheitlich völlig aus der Bahn gekegelt und ich kämpfe ich mich grade langsam zurück an Licht, Luft und Bewegung. Hier im Rheinland trifft heute Valentinstag auf Karneval. Dafür hab ich mein „Alaaf you“ vom letzten Jahr neu aufgelegt: in der Disco-Edition. Diesmal ohne Hennifer, denn die ruht sich noch aus von Weiberfastnacht (➡ wer sie nochmal sehen möchte).
