  • Bei meinem Istanbul-Ausflug ist mir aufgefallen, dass wir dort sehr oft einen Çay, also ein kleines Glas schwarzen Tee, serviert bekamen. Zum Beispiel im Restaurant nach dem Essen oder um die Wartezeit beim Friseur zu verkürzen (ja.... mein Mann liebt es, im Ausland zum Frisuer zu gehen, insbesondere wenn er die Landessprache nicht beherrscht) oder auch nach erfolgreichem Shoppen direkt im Laden. Das fand ich sehr schön, weil es nicht nur türkische Gastfreundschaft zeigt, sondern auch das Tempo rausnimmt. Und das macht fröhlich. Also: mehr abwarten und Tee trinken! . During my trip to Istanbul, I noticed that we were very often served a çay – a small glass of black tea. For example, in a restaurant after a meal, or to pass the time whilst waiting at the hairdresser’s (yes… my husband loves going to the hairdresser’s abroad, especially when he doesn’t speak the local language), or even straight in the shop after a successful shopping trip. I really liked that, because it not only shows Turkish hospitality, but also slows things down a bit. And that makes you feel happy.   • So, der Hase hat abgeliefert, Ostern kann kommen! Dieses Motiv ist vor zwei Jahren als Ostergrußkarte für @tauruscards entstanden. Vielleicht mach ich für das Folgemotiv mal einen Hasen in einer Möhrenrakete? Oder doch lieber auf dem Rad... bei den aktuellen Spritpreisen. Ich wünsch euch frohe Ostern! Für mich gehts demnächst auf einen Kurztrip nach Istanbul, eine Stadt, die ich schon so lange mal besuchen wollte. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr gespannt. . Right then, the bunny has done the job – bring on Easter! I created this design two years ago as an Easter greeting card for @tauruscards. Maybe for the next design I’ll make a bunny in a carrot rocket? Or perhaps on a bike… given the current petrol prices. I wish you all a happy Easter!
